Golf-Super Molinari brothers claim first World Cup for Italy (Reuters)

SHENZHEN, China, Nov 29 (Reuters) – Brothers Francesco andEdoardo Molinari won a dramatic three-way final round battlewith Sweden and Ireland to claim a first World Cup of Golf forItaly by one stroke on Sunday.
The duo found their putting touch on the back nine tofinish with a four-under-par 68 for a total of 29-under for the$5.5 million tournament at Mission Hills.
Ireland’s Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell, who led allweek after opening 58, carded an error-strewn 70 to sharesecond with defending champions Swedes Henrik Stenson andRobert Karlsson, who carded a 69.
Edoardo Molinari, who won the Dunlop Phoenix in Japan lastweek, will share a cheque for $1.7 million with his brotherafter making Italy the 15th nation to lift the John Jay Hopkinstrophy at the 55th version of the event.
