Golf-Noh sign of hot streak slowing for South Korean teenager (Reuters)

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 (Reuters) – South Korean teenager NohSeung-yul continued his sparkling form by firing an openinground six-under-par 66 for a share of the lead after the openinground of British Open International Final Qualifying.
Noh, who won the Malaysian Open co-sanctioned by the Asianand European Tours on Sunday, must finish in the top four toqualify for the Open at St Andrews in July.
The 18-year-old fired an eagle and seven birdies in hisround to lead the 72-man field at the Saujana Golf and CountryClub with Danny Chia of Malaysia.
“It was a mixed round for me but overall I’m glad to shootwhat I did on this tough course,” Noh said in an Asian Tour newsrelease. “My putting worked very well and you need thatespecially on these greens.”
