Funk holds lead at En-Joie

ENDICOTT, N.Y. (AP)—Fred Funk has held on to the first-round lead at theDick’s Sporting Goods Open.
Funk shot an 8-under 64 on Friday, but a four-hour rain delay prevented 24players from completing the round until Saturday morning.
Jeff Roth was one of them, and he finished at 6 under to tie Jay Haas andLonnie Nielsen for second.
Tom Kite, D.A. Weibring, Gary Hallberg, Andy Bean and Mike Hulbert were tiedfor fifth at 5 under.
